We couldn't put everything on the CD! So, here's some links to locations on the Internet that store copies of valuable MAPI, SAPI, & TAPI utilities and programming tools.
For the most up-to-date information on the MAPI, SAPI, & TAPI Developers' Guide visit the MSTDG Home page maintained by MSTDG author, Mike Amundsen.
If you need a copy of the Microsoft Unimodem Driver for Windows 95, visit the Microsoft web server.
If you're a CompuServe user, you can download the CIS/Microsoft add-in for the Exchange/WMS client.
This Win95 standalone Exchange client now supports the Internet account add-in. You can download the latest version from the Microsoft web site.
Visit the Microsoft FTP server to pick up copies of several handy tools. Some of the things that you can find at this site are:
enumtapi.zip - Handy utility to tell you the kind of TAPI services available on your machine
tb13.zip - TAPI 1.3 (16-bit) browser to test TAPI calls interactively
tb14.zip - TAPI 1.4 (32-bit) browser to test TAPI calls interactively
esp.zip - Economical Service Provider (16-bit) lets you test TAPI without a live phone line
esp32.zip - Economical Service Provider (32-bit) lets you test TAPI without a live phone line
Visit Microsoft's FTP site to pull down some handy MAPI programming tools including the new Windows Messaging Clients for all Windows platforms. Some other good stuff there, too.
Here's an excellent example of OLE Messaging programming using VBA under Excel. You need the OLE Message set to run these examples, though.
Note: You must currently be connected to the internet for the above links to work. These links were active as of 9/1/96.
